Rena started out as Sparky Jones or at least that's what she thought until she was in the 4th grade. It wasn't until then that she found out her name wasn't really Sparky, but instead..... Marjarie. Needless to say, when she started high school, she decided to give her middle name a try, Rena.
Rena was born in Denton, Texas in the mid 1970's. She grew up in Bartonville, Texas when it used to be referred to as "the sticks". She was the youngest of 5 girls and 1 boy. She went to Denton public schools through middle school then moved to the panhandle of Florida her Sophmore year to live with her oldest sister. She finished high school and started college there. It was after Hurricane Opal destroyed her first apartment in 1995 that she decided to come back home. She's been back in the Denton area ever since and has never had a desire to leave. Rena's background includes marketing, business development, management, administration, public relations and all other aspects that come with owning your own business.
Rena's greatest joy in life is helping others. There is no greater satisfaction than helping someone acheive their goals. She lives that everyday in her ability to help friends and family acheive the dream of home ownership. She has been a licensed Texas REALTOR since the spring of 2000. Rena also has experience in the title industry. Rena has had the blessing to serve on various committees through the Greater Denton/Wise County Association of REALTORS. She is a past president for Denton's Young Professionals and served as an officer and member for many years. Throughout her involvement with the Denton and Lewisville Chambers of Commerce, she has had the fortune of meeting several key individuals that she is honored to call her friends. She has graciously been given numerous awards for community service, participation and leadership skills. Rena is a graduate of Leadership Denton, class of 2007 and Leadership Flower Mound, class of 2014. She conciously tries to better herself everyday through friendships, experiences and education. Her number one priority is honesty. Rena is a very giving and professional person and would love to help you with any and all of your real estate needs. Whether it be buying, selling, leasing, tax or mortgage questions; she is always here to help. Her business is built on referrals and she sincerely takes pride in that.
Home is a very busy and sometimes chaotic place. Rena has two daughters and one son. Jessica or Jessi as I call her, is 14 and is extremely hard headed and stubborn. (Still debating where she gets that from!) Jessi loves to cheer and spend every available minute with her friends. Joey is 13 and is definitely Momma's boy. He aims to please and rarely disappoints. Joey is in the gifted and talented program at his school and excels at numerous sports throughout the year. He is also a student in a gifted scholarship program with Duke University. Julianna is 8. She is in 3rd grade this year. Jules has a very entertaining personality and is very bouncy.
As you can imagine, we stay pretty busy. All of the kiddos are involved in athletics. Joey plays baseball with Corinth Area Baseball, so we sometimes feel like we live at the ball park in the spring. Joey plays football as well. Jessi and Jules both love to cheer. As you can imagine..... mommy is very proud and loud at the games! Julianna loves music and likes to show off her mad dancing skills!
YOU are the key to helping us provide for my family...ONE referral at a time!
